Your Manuscript

Culturatti Ink is accepting completed manuscripts for immediate publication. We are interested in multicultural children's books, short stories and novels concerning women, children, cultural and social diversity.

Manuscript Submissions
All manuscripts submitted must be culturally relevant, speak to diversity of any kind or deal with women or children's issues.

We are not interested in books of a religious nature. Pornographic or sexually explicit titles will not be considered. Manuscripts must be sent to the address below in both an electronic text file format on CD and a double-spaced printed copy for review.

Payment Policy
Culturatti Ink assumes all financial responsibility should we accept your manuscript for publication. Any outside promoting that you decide to do to help market your book is your responsibility as an author. You can help by creating a buzz in your local area in addition to the national marketing campaign conducted by Culturatti Ink. Should your manuscript be chosen for publication, you will be provided with tips and resources for marketing your book in your area.

Author royalties are paid on a quarterly basis. Published authors will receive detailed quarterly statements explaining sales and royalty breakdowns. Percentages paid to each author vary according to your specific contract.

Authors will be able to purchase the completed books at an authors discount as outlined in your author contract.

Donation Statement
Culturatti Ink gladly donates a portion of every book sold to a charitable organization focusing on either women, children or both. The organization is chosen at the sole discretion of Culturatti Ink. Neither the illustrator nor author has any authority or participation in this decision making process. Authors or illustrators that are not comfortable with our donation policy should not consider Culturatti Ink for publication.

Manuscript Return Policy
After review of your original manuscript, we will contact you with our decision. Due to the number of titles that we receive, please be advised that your manuscript will not be automatically returned to you. If you would like your manuscript returned after our review, you must include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Please allow 8 to 10 weeks for our review process.
