This childrens' book gives a positive message that you can't find fault with! It is a book that provokes questions from kids. Because my kids go to a racially mixed school, they were surprised by Hoppa's earlier experiences. A big thanks to that author (a dear friend) who unknowingly opened up a positive dialogue in... our household. This book recieved a "triple decker thumbs up" from my youngest reader. Please catch your readers reading this book soon! Go Hoppa!

A touching story told with loud out loud humor, about a situation that probably isn't just unique to Hoppa ... Making it a great book for all. Well Done my friend!! You should be proud. All your buds are. Love Kelly Tomasina :)

I may be a little biased (seeing as how I'm the mom in the book) but believe me when I tell you this book rocks. Besides, the proceeds go to help put books and writing programs in our public schools. Go out and buy a copy.

My kids loved Hoppa. What a great story!

We read your book on the way home from up north and loved it! The best part was that WB was the most welcoming place for everybody. What a great story. My son's favorite part was when that one teacher unbraided Hoppa's hair. You have to tell me if any of this is true?

We received ours on Friday and read it several times over the weekend. It's great. My daughter is only 3 so she doesn't quite get the implications, but she did ask questions along the way. It wasn't until I got to the WB and Doherty part that I realized it might be truly autobiographical. I, too, am curious how much of this actually happened!
Good luck with the book!
